AMSE announces 35 new jobs as new office and workshop extension is officially opened

The Irish Taioseach, Mr. Bertie Ahern, announced the creation of 35 new jobs at AMSE as the company begins the latest phase of its strategic development plan. The new facility will increase production output at AMSE to over 18,000 tonnes and will accommodate the company’s expansion to the UK market this month.

At the opening, Mr. Ahern congratulated AMSE Managing Director Andrew Mannion on the company’s continued success and ability to constantly evolve in a competitive and increasingly globalised market;

“Today you have the largest manufacturing output in the state. This shows your commitment to innovation and expertise as well as the significant extent to which you have invested in your company.”

Managing Director Andrew Mannion believes the best is yet to come,

“The company has been evolving to this point for some time, but we are by no means at our pinnacle yet. There are a number of exciting elements of our growth plan yet to be implemented and we look forward to offering clients new and innovative aspects of our service in the near future. I have no doubt that the collective ambitions of our highly driven team will help propel us to even greater success.”

At the reception, Mr. Ahern was presented with a novel steel plant holder fabricated in the style of the roof trusses at Croke Park (top right).
